A Note to the Woman Who Wants to Follow His Lead Follow up to (Having the Conversation) Ladies, in my last note, I talked to the men about being firm, consistent, fair, and decisive. Now I want to share four things I believe are important for women who desire a taken-in-hand relationship. He cannot lead if you are unwilling to follow. If you want your husband to take charge, you have to be willing to follow his lead even when you don't particularly like a decision. If you only follow when it suits you, he may eventually question whether you genuinely want this dynamic. Trust is the key. That doesn't mean giving up your voice; it means trusting him enough to listen, communicate, and honor the agreements you've made together . There is a difference between speaking your mind and nagging. Your attitude, tone, and timing can make all the difference. You should absolutely be able to express your concerns, but how you communicate them can determine whether you have a productive...
